Procedure for Course Registration for Students Retaking Semester Courses in the Department of Nursing

Greetings from the NUNSA Academics Office. As a student retaking a semester or session course, we remain committed to providing you with the necessary guidance and support to ensure a better and more successful academic year. The information below outlines the steps you are expected to follow once it has been confirmed that you will be retaking a course.

1. Consultation with Part Advisor: All students retaking any course must meet with their Part Advisor for proper guidance and approval of the next steps.
2. Payment of School Fees: Students are required to pay only for the specific semester concerned. This payment should be made through the school e-portal as instructed.
3. Course Registration: Students retaking a course are not allowed to register for courses in the next class alongside the course(s) they are repeating. You are to register only the course(s) you are retaking, along with any available elective(s).
4. Additionally, you must obtain a Letter of Permission to register below 18 units. This letter can be issued via your Part Advisor/the B.N.Sc Coordinator. For semester where such student do not have any course to take, the student will have to take a leave of absence.
5. Class Attendance and Continuous Assessment: Students retaking any course are regarded as regular students for that course. You are expected to attend classes consistently and must meet the minimum 75% attendance requirement, as well as participate in all Continuous Assessment activities, assignments, and practicals where applicable.
